A few weeks ago, we took a look at the most common engineering job openings on our requisition list. Electrical engineering opportunities rounded out our top 3. Perhaps it should have been higher. New information this week shows software engineering job listings have grown 74% so far this year, tops among any job listings in any industries. Another interesting profession to make the top 10 list: truck drivers, which has seen a 45% growth in listings. This is a good sign for manufacturing jobs, as an increase in manufacturing leads to a greater need in ways to transport manufactured goods.
