We all know that answering questions properly in an interview can be the key to getting the job, but asking the right questions can be just as important.  How do you know the right questions to ask?  That can depend on a number of factors including the position you’re interviewing for and why you’re looking for a new opportunity.  Let’s take a look at some sample questions based on the objective of the interviewee’s job search:

Career Growth:  Are there opportunities for upward mobility within the company?

Innovative Company: How does your organization distinguish itself from the competition?

Enjoyable Atmosphere: What does your company do to show value in its employees?

New Responsibilities: Can you walk me through a typical day for a person in this role?

Employee Retention: How long did the previous person last in this role and what was his/her reason for leaving the position?

Job Stability: What changes do you see for the company and industry during the next five years?

Position Expectations: What are the top objectives of this individual to accomplish during the first three months?
